Code of Conduct

We at Fatali Investigations consider ethics to be the most important part of our business; trust and respect from our clients are paramount to our success. While as private investigators we very often handle and come across very sensitive and personal information, it becomes essential for us to adhere to a code of conduct, and for our clients to understand what they should expect from us, the "professionals." Ethical guidelines provide a framework for making choices. Common sense dictates that we make these choices according to established laws, community morals, concern for fairness, and attention to the needs and safety of those around us. Choices should also be made with respect for everyone involved, including ourselves. We will always adhere to:

  • Conduct ourselves in our profession with honesty, sincerity, integrity, fidelity, morality and good conscience in all dealings with our clients
  • Preserve forever our clients' confidences under any and all circumstances except where the clients' interest is contrary to criminal law
  • Will not make a disclosure of information to a person not authorized by the client or by applicable laws
  • Conduct all our investigations within the bounds of legality, morality, and professional ethics
  • Cooperate with all recognized and responsible law enforcement and governmental agencies in matters within the realm of their jurisdiction.
  • Counsel our clients against any illegal or unethical course of action
  • Will not participate in entrapment techniques
  • Disclose to our clients any conflict which would prevent our investigator(s) from performing a fair and professional investigation
  • Explain to the full satisfaction of our clients all fees and charges in their cases
  • Truthfully report facts and make recommendations based on fact, regardless of personal opinions
  • When required, will only subcontract with a licensed private investigator
  • Retain our own professional reputation and that of our fellow investigators and professional associates
  • Will comply with lawful orders of the courts at all times, testify truthfully without bias or prejudice, and give accurate, complete factual information and related documents
  • Insure that all our employees adhere to this code of ethics
